Established by three directors with both military and commercial backgrounds in aviation and system support, based on an identified need to disrupt the status quo in military and commercial support solutions.

With over 100 years’ experience between us, Tanglewood understands how to support advanced hardware and software solutions in both the defence and commercial sectors.

Meet The Team

A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Technology Management and over 27 years' experience in new technology programs and military/commercial equipment support in the UK and Asia-Pacific, including roles on the F-35 programme, Aircraft component MRO, international business development and consultancy for UAVs and ISR systems.

Richard Glyn-Jones

A trained Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) specialist with over 44 years' experience in engineering, military and commercial sectors, including roles in the RAF over a 23-year career, Lucas Varity (TRW), Raytheon UK, and Collins Aerospace, delivering comprehensive ILS solutions and supporting various military programmes.

David Johnston

A trained Avionic engineer with 40 years’ experience in the military and commercial sectors. A specialist in Integrated Logistics Support, Programme Management and Business Development, he has provided consultancy to DE&S and worked on major projects including the RSAF Tornado mid-life upgrade.
